Nozawa Accommodation Listing

Nozawa Onsen is a small town with village vibe, which sits at the bottom of the resort. Most of the accommodation is traditional Japanese housing, located in narrow cobbled streets in the village. The large hotels common at other resorts are notably absent.

Most of the accommodation ranges from luxurious ryokans with elaborate Japanese service, to pensions with less extravagant facilities. The ryokans feature excellent dining options and their own onsen for you to soak in after a tough day on the skis.

There are traditional Japanese lodges, with futons on tatami flooring and a shared bathroom. These are well priced and cater to those on a limited budget. There are few western style hotels for those looking for less traditional accommodation.

Several locations around the village offer easy access to the ski slopes. The most popular is Central Village, which is closest to restaurants and the nightlife. Ski and ski out accommodation is available close to the Hikage Gondola, and at the Nagasaka Gondola Base. The West Village is just a 5 min walk to Central Village, and closer to the action.
